Intimidation Clothing sponsored fighter Cody “The Wolverine” Stevens has been where Anderson Silva is. The professional featherweight fighter suffered the same fate as Silva in 2009, when he broke the tibia and fibula in his leg during a bout against Jason McLean.

Cody Stevens MMAStevens recently posted a video discussing the potential fate of Silva, stating that he is living proof that a nasty broken leg isn’t necessarily a career-ending injury.

After breaking his leg in November 2011, Stevens had surgery and competed in another bout just over 8 months later, where he defeated Nate Jolly via unanimous decision at RFO: Big Guns 6.

Stevens was one of the biggest additions to Team Intimidation in 2013, as he was sponsored by the brand in his last two bouts. First, he picked up a victory over TUF/UFC/Bellator veteran Dustin Neace at RFO: Big Guns 12 Resurrection in August, and then he was seen on an international stage at ONE FC 11 in October, where he lost a unanimous decision to top-ranked fighter Shinya Aoki.

The video below features Stevens discussing Silva’s break, as well as telling his own story in front of his walkout banner from the bout against Aoki, which shows the Intimidation logo in a prominent position.

Intimidation Clothing is pleased to announce its sponsorship of unbeaten professional fighter Brandon Clawson on the upcoming Colosseum Combat XXVI event. Clawson (3-0) is set to take on Lloyd Carter (5-5) in a featured bout at the event on September 28th in Kokomo, Indiana.

A member of the FightScience Gym who also trains at Lafayette Boxing Club, Clawson has posted three stoppage wins in three bouts since turning pro earlier this year after a 15-fight amateur career. Clawson is currently riding a two-fight knockout streak, including first round finishes of Atsuhiro Takano and Carson Gainey. This will also be the third consecutive Colosseum Combat card to feature Clawson, as he made his pro debut with a first round submission over Casey Craft at Colosseum Combat XXIV before stopping Takano at Colosseum Combat XXV in June.

Clawson has a background in kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and he is a blue belt in BJJ under Brad Maddox. The rising star feels that he is the underdog in this fight and has something to prove against the more experienced fighter.

Along with sponsoring Clawson, Intimidation is also set to sponsor several top amateurs and will serve as a sponsor of the Colosseum Combat XXVI event along with having an official booth selling Intimidation’s popular brand of t-shirts, hats, hoodies, fight shorts, and more.
