Jessica Eye win highlights record weekend for Intimidation at events across the USA

The Intimidation brand was once again seen across the USA at regional MMA events and on national TV over the weekend as the company enjoyed yet another record-breaking weekend. With two fighters scheduled to fight on MTV2 and four scheduled in total at Bellator 83, the national audience was able to see Intimidation from the comfort of their couch while fans at events in Toledo, Ohio, Atlantic City, New Jersey and Tulsa, Oklahoma all witnessed the brand up close and personal at local MMA events.

Jessica Eye MMA - BellatorIt took just 58 seconds for Jessica Eye to enter the consciousness of all MMA fans, as the Northeast Ohio favorite submitted Bellator women’s 115-pound champion Zoila Gurgel with a standing arm triangle less than a minute into their highly anticipated match-up at Bellator 83. Sponsored by the Intimidation brand in each of her past nine fights, Eye (9-1), won her sixth consecutive bout, staying unbeaten in the Bellator cage with a 3-0 record. There’s no doubt that we will see highlights from this win by Eye on MMA Uncensored on Spike, Inside MMA on AXS TV and throughout Eye’s Bellator career as she joins a long list of Intimidation sponsored fighters scoring highlight reel finishes on a national stage.

While fights for Kelvin Tiller and Shah Shamhalaev both fell through late, Intimidation will now sponsor Shamhalaev, a product of New York’s Team Bombsquad, at Bellator 84 when he faces Rad Martinez in the Season 7 Bellator Featherweight Tournament final. Intimidation sponsored MASH Fight Team product and Michigan native David “Bo” Harris also put up a tough fight against Claudio Ledesma despite losing a decision at the event.

Intimidation was a big part of the first all-pro MMA card in Toledo, as along with being a sponsor of Purgatory Fight Series 10, where Intimidation-sponsored fighters went 2-1 at the event. Jake Grigson earned a decision win over super-hot bantamweight Andrew Huffman, moving his record to 5-2 as a pro. Meanwhile, Philadelphia native Andrew “Ozzy” Osborne moved to 3-0 since being sponsored by Intimidation, as he earned a split decision over local favorite Jake Draves in a welterweight match-up. Hector Urbina put up a great fight in his homecoming in the main event, but unfortunately he came up short in his middleweight bout against Tyler Beckley.

Tulsa, Oklahoma also got a large dose of Intimidation-sponsored fighters, as two big-show veterans represented by the brand split at the King of the Cage event. UFC veteran David Heath earned a decision victory over Chad Herrick, while TUF veteran Josh Bryant dropped a disputed decision to Sean Strickland in the main event.
