Intimidation Clothing is pleased to announce the signing of exciting young lightweight Joey Holt to an expanded, exclusive sponsorship deal. Joey Holt MMAHolt, who improved to 3-0 as a pro in January, is best known for his highlight reel flying knee KO of Clint Musser at Bellator 51. Most recently Holt was scheduled to fight at Bellator 71 in Chester, West Virginia but the fight was cancelled 24 hours prior to the event due to his opponent not making weight.

Fighting at Bellator 51 in Canton, Ohio in September 2011, Joey “The Hitman” Holt (3-0) was an underdog on paper to decorated wrestler Clint Musser (2-1). After spending much of the first round surviving Musser’s ground and pound attacks Holt landed a flying knee to the head of Musser while he shot for a takedown. The resulting knockout was featured on HDNet’s Indside MMA multiple times throughout the Fall of 2011 and was a finalist for Knockout of the Year and immediately put Holt on the regional and national MMA map. In three pro fights Holt has yet to be taken out of the 1st round scoring two KO wins and a submission victory.

Holt went 7-5 as an amateur and regularly trains at his home gym while cross training at Strong Style Martial Arts in the Cleveland area and Fight Club Pittsburgh. The 27 year old product of Team Impact in East Liverpool, Ohio, joins teammate Josh “The Sandman” Stansbury as the newest Intimidation signees as both have agreed to exclusive deals with one of the fastest growing MMA apparel brands in the combat sports industry.

Intimidation sponsored Jessica Eye will return to the Bellator cage this Friday night at Bellator 66. Eye, one of the highest ranked female MMA fighters in the world, will face Anita Rodriguez in a 125 pound battle on the event’s preliminary card to be broadcast live on Spike.com. Jessica “Evil” Eye, who completed her amateur career at 5-0 and is a combiined 11-1, won the Ring of Combat women’s 130 lb title in February 2011 with a 1st round TKO of Ashley Nee and also holds pro wins over Kelly Warren, Jennifer Scott, Casey Noland, Marissa Caldwell and Amanda LaVoy. Marcos Galvao and Luis Nogueira both stepped into the Bellator cage on Friday night with their sights set on winning the Season 6 Bantamweight Tournament and both left the cage one fight closer to that goal. Marcos Galvao began the MTV2 televised portion of the Bellator 65 event in Atlantic City, New Jersey with a decisive unanimous decision beating Ed West. The Brazilian-born Galvao is a BJJ black belt and is a Grapplers Quest Pro Division Champion, five time Brazilian National Champion and a two time World Champion.
