Weekend MMA Recap: Team Intimidation fighters earn wins at sponsored MMA events across the Midwest

It was a busy weekend for Team Intimidation across the Midwest, as multiple events and fighters were sponsored on a busy October weekend. Intimidation was on hand at multiple events over the weekend, including Akron, Detroit and two MMA events in Indianapolis, selling its popular brand of t-shirts, hats, hoodies, fight shorts, and more. The successful weekend saw several sponsored athletes victorious with the amateurs stealing the show.

Austin Tweedy MMAAt the Caged Madness 26 event in Akron, Ohio, Team Intimidation was on hand with a successful night, while sponsored fighters went 1-1 inside the cage. Professional heavyweight Tim Dunn (1-1) suffered his first defeat when the doctor stopped the fight with a cut in the first round. Jeremy Linville (2-1) landed a big punch on Dunn early in the fight, and the cut wouldn’t stop bleeding. Also at the Explosive Fight Promotions event, former Division II national champion wrestler JD Ramsey (2-0) remained unbeaten in his amateur career with a first round TKO victory. A disciple of Intimidation sponsored UFC veteran Branden Hinkle, Ramsey is one of the newest members of Team Intimidation.

The Indiana wing of the Team Intimidation crew had a busy weekend, as they were on hand at two Indianapolis MMA events beginning with the Midwest Fight Series: Friday Night Fights 5 event on Friday night. In one of the night’s featured pro bouts, Team Intimidation pro Austin Tweedy (3-0, pictured on right) stayed unbeaten with a 75-second submission victory over Kurstan Davenport (0-1). Dustin Parrish with Eddie BravoIntimidation was also on hand at the Art of War 8 event on Saturday night in Indianapolis, and Intimidation Clothing September Athlete of the Month Dustin Parrish (8-1, pictured on left with Eddie Bravo) had a slick debut in the lightweight division, as he took home a unanimous decision over Gary Widget (9-5). On Friday night’s Bellator MMA broadcast Justin “The Silverback” Wilcox scored a unanimous decision win in the semifinals to advance to the Bellator Featherwight Tournament final. Intimidation & NAAFS Light Heavyweight Champion Josh Stansbury agree to expanded, exclusive sponsorship deal

Just days after winning the NAAFS Light Heavyweight Championship at Bellator 71 and online at Spike.com, Intimidation Clothing is pleased to announce an expanded sponsorship deal with Josh “The Sandman” Stansbury. Intimidation Clothing continues efforts to strengthen name in local Ashtabula County

Intimidation Clothing is a company built on the talents of individuals. Branden Hinkle MMAIntimidation Clothing was pleased to be on hand on Sunday afternoon as UFC veteran and Jefferson native Branden Hinkle taught a wrestling seminar at Jefferson Area High School. A former US National Freestyle All-American and Division II NCAA National Championship wrestler, Hinkle is a 1991 graduate of Jefferson Area High School and a bit of a local legend around Ashtabula County. Hinkle a MMA heavyweight who fought 3 times in the UFC in 2005 & 2006, last fought in April 2011 and sports a 15-11 record as a professional. Throughout his 13-year pro MMA career Hinkle has faced many of the sport’s top fighters including Gabriel Gonzaga, Jorge Rivera, Sean Gannon, Jeff Monson, Chris Tuchscherer, Kevin Jordan and more.
