Intimidation Clothing is a company built on the talents of individuals. It is because of these talents that the company is pleased to continue to build their name in their hometown region in and around Ashtabula County, Ohio. Already one of the biggest MMA apparel brands in the Midwest, Intimidation has made many efforts to build their brand in Ashtabula County in many ways by working with local MMA fighters & events as well as local school districts and ESPN 970 WFUN in Ashtabula.
In recent months, Intimidation’s presence has been strongly felt in Ashtabula County’s MMA scene. Sponsorship of the NAAFS’ annual War on the Shore event in Geneva on the Lake on July 23rd was followed by the sponsorship of Jefferson native Branden Hinkle’s (pictured) wrestling clinic at Jefferson Area High School on July 31st. The company has also stated their intentions of sponsoring Hinkle, a UFC vet, as he continues to add to his impressive MMA resume. In addition, Intimidation added Esther’s Sports Card in the Ashtabula Mall as an authorized dealer in July and the company is expected to announce another dealer in the County in the coming week. To add to all of this, Intimidation President & CEO Luke Jernigan began a series of interviews with ESPN 970 WFUN’s Angle of Pursuit program in August which will cover both national and local Mixed Martial Arts discussion.
“We are serious about building our name in our local region, a region that has been hit very hard by the economic times,” said Jernigan. “I have every intention of building this company into one that helps brings jobs to our region and I hope our neighbors in and around Ashtabula County will continue to buy our gear and help us achieve those goals.”
On top of the above, Jernigan himself has personally been a speaker at career day events in two Ashtabula Count yschool districts, Jefferson Area High School as well as Pymatuning Valley Local Schools in Andover, Ohio. As a result of these appearances, the company has also announced the release of a Jefferson Falcons t-shirt (pictured, left) to be released this week. The shirt, which will be available through the Jefferson Area Athletic Boosters, will be sold as a fundraiser for the group in a joint venture.
