Intimidation to sponsor Ryan Hogans, Andy Anderson at GOTC event on December 7th in Pittsburgh, PA

Intimidation Clothing is pleased to announce its sponsorship of multiple fighters at the upcoming Gladiators of the Cage: The North Shore’s Rise to Power III on December 7th at Stage AE in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Intimidation is set to sponsor Ryan “The Hurricane” Hogans in his professional debut as well as Andy Anderson in his amateur debut.

Ryan Hogans MMAHogans (0-0 pro, 8-7 amateur – pictured with coach Rob Majors) is set to make his professional debut after a lengthy amateur career, as he will take on Pennsylvania native Steve Jones (0-0 pro, 5-2 amateur) in a featherweight bout. Hogans, who trains at Malice MMA in Ohio, won multiple titles as an amateur, including the AFA bantamweight title. Hogans won his last two amateur bouts in under two minutes combined, with one TKO and one submission. Anderson (0-0), a coach at Stout Training in Pittsburgh, is set to make his amateur debut in a featherweight bout against Jake Magill (0-2).

The event currently has 14 bouts scheduled, including 7 professional and 7 amateur bouts. The main event features 2012 NAAFS amateur featherweight champion Dominic Mazzotta (2-0) taking on XFC veteran Jordan Espinosa (3-1) in a 145-pound bout. Other notables include Mike Wilkins (3-1), Chris Dempsey (7-1), and 2010 Division II national champion Shane Valko (0-0 pro, 6-1 amateur), who have all been sponsored by Intimidation in the past.

Weekend Recap: Intimidation sponsored pros impress at events in Columbus & Philadelphia

Along with being a title sponsor of the UVC 22: Mayhem event in Columbus, Intimidation Clothing was also a sponsor of all three professionals who were victorious at the event. Dan Spohn, Tim Dunn, and Isaac Steele all picked up professional victories to represent Team Intimidation well. In addition, Chris Dempsey picked up his second win in a row in Philadelphia.

Tim Dunn MMADan Spohn (pictured below, left) snapped a three-fight losing streak by submitting Chicagoan Rob Morrow in the UVC 22 main event with a rear naked choke. After showing off his counter punching in the first round, Spohn earned the takedown in the second and worked to take Morrow’s back to sink in the choke. Video of the fight is below.

After an 11-2 amateur career and being ranked the No. 1 heavyweight in Ohio, Tim “Fatboy” Dunn (pictured, right) made his professional debut at UVC 22 on Saturday night. With all of his “Fatboy” fans in attendance, he knocked out James Dishong in the first round to move his pro record to 1-0. Dishong looked good using his reach advantage landing his jab early in the fight, as the Ronin Training Center and Ohio Combat Sports product was also sponsored by Intimidation.

Isaac Steele capped off the night with a TKO victory over Tommy Roberts, as he moved his pro record to 4-0 and his overall record to 9-0 including his amateur career. In addition, Intimidation sponsored multiple amateur fighters on the card including Corey Dulaney and three fighters from the popular Ronin Training Center in Columbus.

At XCC: Mayhem in Philadelphia, former collegiate All-American Chris Dempsey picked up his second straight win over Bellator MMA veteran Chris Wing. He moves up to 4-1 in his pro MMA career and looks to continue his winning ways.

“The Professional Predator,” Brian Rogers, was in also action at Bellator MMA 89 in the Season 8 Middleweight Tournament, but he was unfortunately unable to come away with a win against the tough Dan Cramer in Charlotte, NC. The highly motivated Rogers will undoubtedly be eager to step back into the cage in the coming months and will also be one of the select fighters signing autographs at the Intimidation booth at the 2013 Arnold Sports Festival.

Intimidation Clothing is proud to announce that it will sponsor former All-American Chris Dempsey in his upcoming professional bout at Xtreme Caged Combat: Mayhem in Philadelphia on February 16th. Dempsey (3-1) will take on New Jersey product Christopher Wing (4-3) in the evening’s only scheduled pro bout.

Dempsey starred as a heavyweight at Pitt-Johnstown University, becoming a Division II All-American at the small school wrestling powerhouse in 2010. Upon transitioning to MMA, he posted a 3-0 amateur record, including three stoppage victories. He then made his pro debut in 2012, racking up wins over Eddie Hardison and Marcus Finch before dropping his first bout via armbar in September. He then earned a victory over Chase Owens in January to move his record to 3-1. The Cold Steel MMA product was also a collegiate wrestling teammate of 2010 Division II national champion and Intimidation-sponsored fighter Shane Valko as both have been sponsored by the Intimidation brand for the past two years.

Intimidation Weekend Recap: Camozzi, Dempsey, Milstead & Stansbury victorious in boxing & MMA events

Team Intimidation had yet another successful weekend with events in Ohio and Minnesota sponsored and fighters competing at in MMA and boxing competition in New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Adam Milstead MMAWhile the Intimidation Clothing crew was in tow selling the top gear in the MMA industry at NAAFS Combat Challenge 23 in Streetsboro, Ohio, multiple fighters were sponsored by Intimidation at the event, including main event winner Izzy William from Evolve MMA and the Callari Brothers Sammy and Joe from the GriffonRawl MMA Academy.

At the “North Shore’s Rise to Power” event in Pittsburgh, fast-rising heavyweight Adam Milstead (pictured, right) won his fourth straight, as he submitted Tex Trismegistus with an armbar in the second round. Milstead, who recently signed an expanded sponsorship deal with Intimidation, is now 4-0 as a heavyweight and is already 2-0 in 2013. Former All-American wrestler Chris Dempsey moved his record to 3-1 with a dominant decision victory over Chase Owens at the same event. Top-ranked female flyweight and Team Intimidation member Jessica Eye was also in attendance at this event signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.

In a boxing event in Weirton, West Virginia, Josh Stansbury (pictured, left) made a successful pro debut with a TKO in the second round. The NAAFS light heavyweight champion continues to prove that he is not just a star in the cage, but that he can also excel in the ring. Stansbury’s teammate Joey Holt, who has been sponsored by Intimidation in the past, was also victorious at the event with a first round TKO.

The new member of Team Intimidation looks to follow in the footsteps of his brother – UFC middleweight Chris Camozzi. Two fighters who were sponsored by Intimidation unfortunately came up just a bit short in the biggest fights of their careers, as both Frank Caraballo and Andrew Osborne lost in title fights at the Ring of Combat event in Atlantic City. Both fighters have been highly successful while competing and representing the Intimidation brand and both vow to be back bigger and stronger in future competition.

Finally, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Intimidation brand once again sponsored the latest from Driller MMA & SEG at their event entitled Downtown Showdown 12.

Intimidation sponsored fighters go undefeated at IWFC 5

Intimidation Clothing’s name has been growing rapidly in Western Pennsylvania, and Saturday night’s Iron Will Fighting Championships event further cemented Intimidation’s status as one of the fastest-growing and strongest brands in the Midwest. Shane Valko MMAWith a constantly busy booth at the IWFC 5 event that featured Intimidation selling several of the new Hard Luck shirt, MMA board shorts and more, the night saw Intimidation-sponsored fighters go undefeated in four fights. The four amateur fighters all had their hands raised in the cage with two winning by decision and two via submission.

The action began with Curtis Link (2-2) earning a split decision victory in the night’s first fight. Two fights later Dustin Lichtenfels followed his KO win in October by scoring a unanimous decision win to improve to 2-0. Chris Dempsey, a 210-pound fighter who was a Division II All-American wrestler, made a successful amateur MMA debut scoring a rear naked choke in second round. In the final fight that featured the Intimidation name in the cage, the 2010 NCAA Division II National Champion wrestler Shane Valko scored a 2nd round submission victory. The event in Altoona was the second straight IWFC event that Intimidation attended as an event sponsor after first working with the promotion in October 2010. In addition, Intimidation has attended and sponsored events throughout Western Pennsylvania in Erie, Indiana and Johnstown in the past 6 months with intentions to return to Western PA several times throughout 2011.
