Intimidation Clothing is pleased to announce its continued sponsorship of light heavyweight standout Dan “Dragon” Spohn as he returns to action co-headliner at UVC 23. Spohn (7-3) is set to take on Missouri product Aaron Mays (3-2) in the co-feature on May 10th in Columbus, Ohio.

Intimidation Weekend Recap: Camozzi, Dempsey, Milstead & Stansbury victorious in boxing & MMA events

Team Intimidation had yet another successful weekend with events in Ohio and Minnesota sponsored and fighters competing at in MMA and boxing competition in New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Adam Milstead MMAWhile the Intimidation Clothing crew was in tow selling the top gear in the MMA industry at NAAFS Combat Challenge 23 in Streetsboro, Ohio, multiple fighters were sponsored by Intimidation at the event, including main event winner Izzy William from Evolve MMA and the Callari Brothers Sammy and Joe from the GriffonRawl MMA Academy.

At the “North Shore’s Rise to Power” event in Pittsburgh, fast-rising heavyweight Adam Milstead (pictured, right) won his fourth straight, as he submitted Tex Trismegistus with an armbar in the second round. Milstead, who recently signed an expanded sponsorship deal with Intimidation, is now 4-0 as a heavyweight and is already 2-0 in 2013. Former All-American wrestler Chris Dempsey moved his record to 3-1 with a dominant decision victory over Chase Owens at the same event. Top-ranked female flyweight and Team Intimidation member Jessica Eye was also in attendance at this event signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.

In a boxing event in Weirton, West Virginia, Josh Stansbury (pictured, left) made a successful pro debut with a TKO in the second round. The NAAFS light heavyweight champion continues to prove that he is not just a star in the cage, but that he can also excel in the ring. Stansbury’s teammate Joey Holt, who has been sponsored by Intimidation in the past, was also victorious at the event with a first round TKO.

The new member of Team Intimidation looks to follow in the footsteps of his brother – UFC middleweight Chris Camozzi. Two fighters who were sponsored by Intimidation unfortunately came up just a bit short in the biggest fights of their careers, as both Frank Caraballo and Andrew Osborne lost in title fights at the Ring of Combat event in Atlantic City. Both fighters have been highly successful while competing and representing the Intimidation brand and both vow to be back bigger and stronger in future competition.

Finally, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, the Intimidation brand once again sponsored the latest from Driller MMA & SEG at their event entitled Downtown Showdown 12.

Intimidation sponsored Joey “The Hitman” Holt in action at NAAFS: Caged Fury 19 in Morgantown, West Virginia

Intimidation Clothing is pleased to announce that exciting young lightweight Joey Holt is expected to fight at NAAFS: Caged Fury 19 in Morgantown, West Virginia. Holt, who signed an expanded, exclusive sponsorship deal with the Intimidation brand earlier this year, improved to 3-0 as a pro in January, is best known for his highlight reel flying knee KO of Clint Musser at Bellator 51. Joey Holt MMAMost recently Holt was scheduled to fight at Bellator 71 in Chester, West Virginia but the fight was cancelled 24 hours prior to the event due to his opponent not making weight. Holt (3-0), a member of Team Impact in East Liverpool, Ohio near the OH/WV border, is expected to face another Intimidation sponsored fighter in Philadelphia-based lightweight Andrew Osborne (4-4).  The event, NAAFS: Caged Fury 19, will take place in conjunction with Reality Cage Combat on Saturday, September 15th at the Morgantown Events Center at the historic Waterfront Place Hotel located just minutes from the WVU campus in Morgantown, West Virginia.

Beginning with their January event at the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown, the NAAFS has already showcased some of the top fighters to ever fight in the state of West Virginia. One of the winners on that NAAFS card was Joey Holt, a winner that night over Nate Hall via KO in less than a minute.  Now 3-0 as a pro, “The Hitman” has finished all three of his opponents inside the 1st round.

Fighting at Bellator 51 in Canton, Ohio in September 2011, Joey “The Hitman” Holt was an underdog on paper to decorated wrestler Clint Musser (2-1). After spending much of the first round surviving Musser’s ground and pound attacks Holt landed a flying knee to the head of Musser while he shot for a takedown. The resulting knockout was featured on HDNet’s Indside MMA multiple times throughout the Fall of 2011 and was a finalist for Knockout of the Year and immediately put Holt on the regional and national MMA map.

Just days after winning the NAAFS Light Heavyweight Championship at Bellator 71 and online at Spike.com, Intimidation Clothing is pleased to announce an expanded sponsorship deal with Josh “The Sandman” Stansbury. The deal will make the Intimidation brand Stansbury’s exclusive clothing and gear sponsor moving forward after Intimidation sponsored the highly popular Stansbury in his Bellator 71 victory on June 22nd. He will now be seen in future fights with Intimidation from head to toe after the two parties quickly came to an agreement after his recent win.
