Horne, Cruickshank, Vaughan, Washington & Gainey give Intimidation a clean pro sweep over the weekend

It was a slow weekend for Intimidation Clothing. Ok, well if in slow we mean having 8 fighters sponsored is slow. Five pros and three amateurs were slated to compete on June 17th and 18th with sponsored fighters from Ohio, Michigan & West Virginia competing at MMA events in Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and in Canada. After the dust settled Team Intimidation ended the weekend 7-1 in the eight fights that took place including 5-0 in pro fights. Here is a look at each fighter in action for Intimidation this past weekend.

Billy Vaughan MMACarson Gainey – Gainey stepped into the cage opposite an 8-2 fighter in Darnell Davis at Legends Of Fighting Championship 47 in Indianapolis, Indiana on Friday night. Fighting at 135 pounds yet again, the natural Flyweight (125 lbs) scored his 4th straight win.

Mojo Horne – The M-1 veteran stepped into the cage for the second time in 2011, this time opposite Bellator vet Amaechi Oselukwue. In a call with Intimidation CEO Luke Jernigan shortly after his win, Horne stated that Oselukwue “was stronger than I expected,” but he was able to sink in the rear naked choke and score the submission victory in the AAMMA XV main event in Florence, Kentucky.

Billy Vaughan – In a battle between two fighters who have fought a lineup of MMA All-Stars, Billy Vaughan (pictured) scored the Knockout of the Night at FightRight MMA: Brawl in the Hall in defeating Binky Jones with a 2nd round KO.

Jon Washington – Washington put his undefeated record on the line versus Eric Moore in a lightweight battle and improved his pro record to 4-0 with the FightRight MMA: Brawl in the Hall submission of the night.

Daron Cruickshank – Cruickshank improved to 8-2 with a win over Brian Cardinal (13-7) at SITH: Slammer in the Hammer in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada on Friday night. The MASH Fight Team member from the Detroit, Michigan area scored a 1st round TKO for his second straight win.

In addition, Intimidation also had three sponsored fighters in amateur fights at AAMMA XV. Popular grappling ace Robby Malof scored a 1st round submission victory and Aaron “Timbo Slice” Webb lost after an injury did not allow him to continue after two rounds in the heavyweight title fight. Meanwhile, in the AAMMA Amateur Bantamweight Championship fight, Eric Moell defeated Matthew Lester via 1st round submission.
