Weekend Recap: Buffalo, Columbus, Indianapolis & more get a taste of Intimidation during busy weekend

The Intimidation Clothing brand continues to spread across the country, typically with multiple events in multiple states sponsored each weekend. This past weekend was no different, with 5 events sponsored across four different states, and with crews at three of the events. The culmination of sponsoring events across the Midwest and beyond, this weekend once again proved that Intimidation Clothing is indeed the biggest supporter of Local MMA in the industry.

Kyle Rozewski w/Luke JerniganIntimidation was live on hand at TNT Fight Series in Buffalo, and as the New York MMA community continues the fight to get the sport legalized in the state, organizations like TNT and owner Don Lilly are doing all they can to prove that it will be an asset to the economy. Team Intimidation fighter Kyle “Kyote” Rozewski (pictured, right w/Intimidation CEO Luke Jernigan) was on hand providing commentary for the event, and he called the action as sponsored amateur fighter David Whitman moved his record up to 2-2 with a stoppage victory.

Intimidation was also on hand at IT Fight Series 26 in Columbus, Ohio, with the organization’s debut in the capital city. The night saw a whirlwind of finishes and fans flocking to the Intimidation booth. The fights were fast and furious in the cage and the night ended as Reggie Parks – a fighter that Intimidation has worked with multiple times – took home a split decision victory in the entertaining main event.

One of the most consistent events in the state, Mad Wolf Promotions continues to put on shows that draw fans, who in turn flock to the Intimidation brand. Intimidation was also a sponsor for EFP’s Caged Madness 29 in Midvale, Ohio, and Hardrock MMA 65 in Louisville, Kentucky.

Looking ahead, Team Intimidation will be on hand at Coveted Fighting Championship 3 in Mentor, Ohio next weekend, and Team Intimidation fighters George Comer and Bryon McCroskey will also be in professional action on the card.

Intimidation Clothing to sponsor Hardrock MMA 65 on June 14th in Louisville, Kentucky

Continuing with a busy weekend of sponsoring events for Intimidation Clothing, the brand is set to continue its sponsorship of one of Kentucky’s top promotions, as Hardrock MMA 65 takes place on June 14th in Louisville.

Team Intimidation’s Brandon Hurst walks red carpet for good cause in Louisville

Team Intimidation‘s Brandon Hurst continues to be a great asset to his local community in the Lousiville, Kentucky area, as the local fighter recently walked the red carpet repping his sponsor Intimidation Clothing. Sporting a Intimidation lapel pin, Hurst attended the 6th annual Silks of the Bluegrass event Saturday evening in support of Operation Open Arms. The organization helps care for children with incarcerated mothers, and it took place during Kentucky Derby weekend in Louisville.

Weekend MMA Recap: Parrish & Whitaker impress as Intimidation scores another winning weekend in Indiana, Kentucky & Michigan

The first weekend of April was busy for Intimidation Clothing, as fighters and events were sponsored all over the country to start a month filled with action.

Multiple fighters were in action at the Midwest Fight Series event in Indianapolis, as Dustin Parrish and Bryant Whitaker both picked up wins on the card. Dustin Parrish MMAFor Parrish (1-0), it was a successful first foray into the pro ranks after a 9-1 amateur career that saw him as one of the most heralded amateurs in the Hoosier State. Parrish (pictured, right) took a split decision victory over Frank Sloan while Bryant Whitaker (4-2) took a second round submission victory over fellow Team Intimidation fighter Kyle Nickle (2-2) at the same MFS events. With the win Whitaker (pictured, left) has won 3 in a row after a 1-2 start to his professional MMA career. Also on the card, Intimidation sponsored fighter Cameron VanCamp (0-0-1) fought to a majority draw against Cody Groves (0-1-1) in his professional debut. In amateur action Chris Tanner improved his record with a first round submission victory and David Dever dropped a TKO loss to David Stephens.

The Intimidation Indiana/Kentucky crew had a busy weekend, first putting together a banner night at Hardrock MMA 64 in Louisville, Kentucky on Friday, and then appearing at the POP!CON comic con event in Evansville, Indiana on Saturday. Team Intimidation fighters were in no short supply at the POP!CON event, as Ruben Perez, Ryan Conaway, Markus Hall and Patrick Ruby all made appearances at the Intimidation booth to greet and interact with fans and sign autographs. The Intimidation Michigan crew also had a successful night at the Exiled MMA: Insurgent event in Cedar Springs, Michigan.

Bryant Whitaker MMAThe Hardrock MMA 64 event was bittersweet for Team Intimidation, because despite a successful night at the Intimidation booth, the planned professional debut of longtime Team Intimidation fighter Brandon Hurst was scratched at the last minute due to his opponent pulling out of the fight with an injury.

In Washington, sponsored fighter and Bellator MMA veteran Scott Thometz (6-3) dropped a hard fought battle, as he succumbed to a TKO against Jacob Boysen (6-1).

This weekend, Intimidation will invade Western New York once again on the back of cornerstone Team Intimidation fighter Kyle “Kyote” Rozewski. First up, Rozewski will be on hand to provide a seminar at Robert Koch’s International Black Belt Academy in Alden, New York with Team Intimidation in attendance followed by Intimidation’s sponsorship of the New York State Grappling Championship in Fredonia, NY.

Intimidation Clothing teams up with the XFC for partnership that includes live AXSTV branding

Intimidation Clothing is pleased to announce a sponsor partnership with the Xtreme Fight Championship (XFC). The deal with the Tampa, Florida based MMA promotion begins immediately and is expected to include live AXSTV branding in 2014. Ryan Thomas MMAThe first Intimidation-sponsored event in the new deal will include XFC27: Frozen Fury on December13th in Muskegon, MI – one of the biggest MMA events to come to the state of Michigan in years.

The two parties first worked together in April 2013 at XFC 23: Louisville Slugfest in April in Louisville, Kentucky and the companies have remained in contact since that time. However, after months of discussion, a deal was struck for a deal to greatly benefit both parties.

Intimidation Clothing gets fantastic national exposure at XFC 23 in Louisville, Kentucky

Another great weekend of event and fighter sponsorships for the Intimidation brand began on Friday night as the company sponsored the XFC 23 event in Louisville, Kentucky. Jessamyn Duke with a fan at XFC 23Along with sponsoring the event itself, one of the biggest MMA events to hit the state of Kentucky in years, Intimidation Clothing also sponsored both fighters in the night’s main event – Luis Santos and Shamar Bailey. To top it all off, Invicta FC bantamweight and local star Jessamyn “The Gun” Duke was in attendance (pictured, left, with an Intimidation customer) at the Intimidation booth signing autographs for fans throughout the night.

The event itself featured a variety of thrilling fights both on the undercard and on the AXS TV televised card. With a card of fighters from across the region and top national gyms, XFC 23 also featured several Women’s MMA All-Stars with Duke, Felice Herrig & Shayna Baszler all in attendance and a televised fight between Stephanie Eggink and Brianna VanBuren. With Duke signing at the Intimidation booth, her presence proved to be a big draw as UFC veteran Jeff Curran, Herrig, Baszler and more all gravitated to the company’s booth.

In the night’s main event, Indiana native Shamar Bailey, a UFC, Bellator and Strikeforce veteran, faced off with Bellator vet Luis “Sapo” Santos from American Top Team. On this night Bailey had little answer for the power of Santos as “Sapo” scored a 1st round TKO.
