Intimidation Clothing to sponsor SEG/Driller MMA event on January 26th in Minneapolis, Minnesota

Intimidation Clothing continues to have an increasing presence in the Land of 10,000 Lakes, and 2013 will be no different. The popular clothing brand is set to be a presenting sponsor of Downtown Showdown 12, which takes place on Jan. 26 in Downtown Minneapolis. Driller / SEG MMAPromoted by Sterling Entertainment Group in conjunction with Driller MMA, the event continues a growing partnership between the two brands.

In the main event, Minnesota pro Nick Compton (6-2) will take on Iowa native Mike Plazola (10-4) in a highly anticipated bout. The event also features a pair of amateur title fights, include one at lightweight and one at bantamweight. The 155 title will feature Ontario native Brandon Gardner (4-1) taking on Minnesota product Cameron Gilliam (5-1), and Minnesota native Randy Lene (8-2) will put his six-fight winning streak on the line when he defends his 135-pound title against unbeaten foe Ehsan Karam (3-0).

UFC on FOX 5 participants have Intimidation flavor

Three fighters with a history of working with Intimidation Clothing were in action at the UFC on FOX 5 event over the weekend, with two of them picking up impressive knockout victories.

Lightweight Daron Cruickshank (pictured, left) went 5-0 on the regional circuit while being sponsored by Intimidation, and the member of James Lee’s MASH Fight Team from Detroit got his break when he was selected as a cast member for The Ultimate Fighter Live in 2012. After making it into the house on TUF, Cruickshank was then invited to compete in the UFC after the season was over. He has since racked up a 2-0 record inside the Octagon, including a unanimous decision over Chris Tickle at the TUF Live Finale and a fantastic head kick knockout over Henry Martinez at UFC on FOX 5. Cruickshank grew up with a father who holds black belts in multiple martial arts and a mother who was a professional kickboxer. He wrestled in college at Olivet College in Michigan and currently teaches kickboxing and appeared on on MTV’s Bully Beatdown in early 2011.

Lightweight Marcus LeVesseur was sponsored by Intimidation in three bouts in 2011, where he just happened to go 3-0, earning him a spot in the UFC. Intimidation Clothing to sponsor Taurean Bogguess in main event at XFO 44 in Hoffman Estates, Illinois

Intimidation pros complete perfect 4-0 weekend at national & regional MMA events

Intimidation Clothing completed one of the most successful weekends in company history which included a highly successful public event and four professional fighters picking up impressive wins. With fighters from New York, Minnesota, Indiana and Ohio competing in regional events in Minnesota, Kentucky and Indiana, as well as a national event in Connecticut, the perfect 4-0 weekend was added to a Bellator 48 watch party in Kent, Ohio, which featured several of the top fighters in Northeast Ohio in attendance to support the Intimidation brand.

Rene Nazare – Intimidation Clothing took another step towards greater national recognition with the sponsorship of Lightweight prospect Rene Nazare on Saturday night at Bellator 48. The fight, which opened the live televised portion on MTV2 saw Nazare (10-0, 3-0 Bellator) dominate Juan Barrantes to score a TKO win after due to Doctor’s Stoppage after two rounds.

Bobby Emmons – In his first fight sponsored by Intimidation, Evansville, Indiana’s Bobby Emmons defeated Terry House via submission due to Triangle Choke in 4:01 of the 1st Round. The win came at HFC 8 in Valparaiso, Indiana and improves Emmons to 2-1 as a pro.

Carson Gainey – Carson Gainey, fighting for the 4th time in 2011, extended his current win streak to 5 with a 1st round North/South Choke submission victory over Tyrelle Olding in a bantamweight fight.
