UFC on FOX 5 participants have Intimidation flavor

Three fighters with a history of working with Intimidation Clothing were in action at the UFC on FOX 5 event over the weekend, with two of them picking up impressive knockout victories.

Lightweight Daron Cruickshank (pictured, left) went 5-0 on the regional circuit while being sponsored by Intimidation, and the member of James Lee’s MASH Fight Team from Detroit got his break when he was selected as a cast member for The Ultimate Fighter Live in 2012. After making it into the house on TUF, Cruickshank was then invited to compete in the UFC after the season was over. He has since racked up a 2-0 record inside the Octagon, including a unanimous decision over Chris Tickle at the TUF Live Finale and a fantastic head kick knockout over Henry Martinez at UFC on FOX 5. Cruickshank grew up with a father who holds black belts in multiple martial arts and a mother who was a professional kickboxer. He wrestled in college at Olivet College in Michigan and currently teaches kickboxing and appeared on on MTV’s Bully Beatdown in early 2011.

Lightweight Marcus LeVesseur was sponsored by Intimidation in three bouts in 2011, where he just happened to go 3-0, earning him a spot in the UFC. Jessica Eye win highlights record weekend for Intimidation at events across the USA

The Intimidation brand was once again seen across the USA at regional MMA events and on national TV over the weekend as the company enjoyed yet another record-breaking weekend. With two fighters scheduled to fight on MTV2 and four scheduled in total at Bellator 83, the national audience was able to see Intimidation from the comfort of their couch while fans at events in Toledo, Ohio, Atlantic City, New Jersey and Tulsa, Oklahoma all witnessed the brand up close and personal at local MMA events.

Jessica Eye MMA - BellatorIt took just 58 seconds for Jessica Eye to enter the consciousness of all MMA fans, as the Northeast Ohio favorite submitted Bellator women’s 115-pound champion Zoila Gurgel with a standing arm triangle less than a minute into their highly anticipated match-up at Bellator 83. Sponsored by the Intimidation brand in each of her past nine fights, Eye (9-1), won her sixth consecutive bout, staying unbeaten in the Bellator cage with a 3-0 record. There’s no doubt that we will see highlights from this win by Eye on MMA Uncensored on Spike, Inside MMA on AXS TV and throughout Eye’s Bellator career as she joins a long list of Intimidation sponsored fighters scoring highlight reel finishes on a national stage.

While fights for Kelvin Tiller and Shah Shamhalaev both fell through late, Intimidation will now sponsor Shamhalaev, a product of New York’s Team Bombsquad, at Bellator 84 when he faces Rad Martinez in the Season 7 Bellator Featherweight Tournament final. Intimidation sponsored MASH Fight Team product and Michigan native David “Bo” Harris also put up a tough fight against Claudio Ledesma despite losing a decision at the event.

Intimidation was a big part of the first all-pro MMA card in Toledo, as along with being a sponsor of Purgatory Fight Series 10, where Intimidation-sponsored fighters went 2-1 at the event. Jake Grigson earned a decision win over super-hot bantamweight Andrew Huffman, moving his record to 5-2 as a pro. Meanwhile, Philadelphia native Andrew “Ozzy” Osborne moved to 3-0 since being sponsored by Intimidation, as he earned a split decision over local favorite Jake Draves in a welterweight match-up. Hector Urbina put up a great fight in his homecoming in the main event, but unfortunately he came up short in his middleweight bout against Tyler Beckley.

Tulsa, Oklahoma also got a large dose of Intimidation-sponsored fighters, as two big-show veterans represented by the brand split at the King of the Cage event. UFC veteran David Heath earned a decision victory over Chad Herrick, while TUF veteran Josh Bryant dropped a disputed decision to Sean Strickland in the main event.

Intimidation Clothing is proud to announce its sponsorship of bantamweight Bo Harris in his upcoming bout at Bellator 83 on Dec. 7 in New Jersey. Harris (7-4) , who hails from Michigan and is considered one of the best bantamweight prospects in the Midwest, is slated to take on Claudio Ledesma (7-3) as part of the preliminary card for the event. King of the Cage: Hardcore - April 26, 2012Hunt (8-3), the reigning King of the Cage Middleweight Champion since 2010, will face undefeated prospect Sean Strickland (8-0) in the title fight to take place on Thursday night April 26th at KOTC: Hardcore at the San Manuel Casino in Highland, California.

Bo Harris scores win in Global Warriors main event in Hamilton, Ontario

Bo Harris continued to show why he is one of the best Bantamweight prospects in Mixed Martial Arts this past weekend. Sponsored by Intimidation Clothing, Harris faced off with Adrian “The Bully” Wooley (7-3) in the Global Warriors Fighting Championship main event. Bo Harris MMAThe event, entitled “Uprising,” took place on August 13th in Hamilton, Ontario, at the Hamilton Place Theatre.

Harris (6-2-1) won his 3rd straight fight, all three of which have come North of the border as he defeated Wooley by Split Decision.
