Intimidation sponsored Levesseur & Miocic score 1st round KO victories

It was another fantastic and successful weekend for Intimidation Clothing as the company further strengthened their name in Ohio while laying the foundation of success in a new state.

The weekend of success started early as Intimidation Clothing began laying the foundation of success in Minnesota on Friday night with sponsorships of Marcus Levesseur and Donald Williams and the entire Vivid MMA vent in St. Paul, Minnesota. Levesseur wore an Intimidation sponsor tee and MMA board shorts and scored a KO of UFC veteran Brian Geraghty. Stipe Miocic UFCGeraghty, who fought Matt Wiman at the TUF 5 finale in 2007, has fought a variety of top featherweights in the sport, but Levesseur made quick of the 40+ fight MMA veteran. The win keeps Levesseur near the top of the list of the top featherweights not in the UFC along with Ohio-based fighters Cody Stevens and Donny Walker (although rumors say Walker is looking to fight at 135 moving forward). Also in action was bantamweight Donald Williams who, despite a strong showing, lost via armbar submission in the first round.

The success continued for Intimidation on Saturday night at NAAFS: Caged Vengeance 9 in Canton, Ohio. Held at the Canton Civic Center, the NAAFS put on yet another great show with many local favorites for the fans of Northeast Ohio including heavyweight prospect Stipe Miocic, middleweight Travis “The Terror” Clark, and the always impressive Nick Duell. Intimidation Clothing was on hand selling at the event and sponsoring Miocic in his fight.

Just minutes after Bobby Brents won the first semifinal bout to advance to the NAAFS Heavyweight Tournament finals, Stipe Miocic took on William Penn in the other semifinal bout. While Penn took the fight to Stipe scoring a takedown and trying to control the pace, Miocic’s superior stand up was the difference as he scored a 1st round KO win, much to the crowd’s delight. Miocic improves to 5-0 as a pro and is expected to face the aforementioned Brents at NAAFS: Fight Nite in the Flats 7 on June 4th, 2011.

After the dust settled, the Intimidation brand had a great weekend of sales and branding with two of their top fighters winning in impressive fashion. Next week Intimidation jumps into the world of grappling as a event sponsor for the Ohio Grappling Challenge in Medina, Ohio.
