Intimidation alums find success in the cage during holiday season

Intimidation Clothing has long been a supporter of up-and-coming mixed martial artists, and many of the fighters who have donned the popular brand in the past have found major successes on varying levels, including in the UFC, Bellator, and World Series of Fighting. Dan Spohn UFCIntimidation has sponsored hundreds of fighters in the company’s five year history, and has produced signature shirts for more than a dozen different athletes.

Most recently, here are the Intimidation alums who have seen success in the sport:

Dan “Dragon” Spohn (9-4) – After starring as a cast member on The Ultimate Fighter 19 and making his official UFC debut earlier this year, Spohn returned to his hometown of Columbus in November, where he moved his record to 3-0 fighting in Ohio’s capital with a first round submission over Michael Cockerham in less than a minute. Spohn, who hopes to make it back to the UFC in 2015 with another win or two, has been a member of Team Intimidation dating back to his fourth professional fight. Intimidation sponsored Spohn en route to his winning the NAAFS light heavyweight title, in his 9-second knockout win at Bellator 51, and his two recent fights for the UVC in Columbus. The Cambridge native is a black belt in traditional kachido akijitsu. Spohn now makes his home in Columbus and holds victories over UFC veteran Josh Hendricks, John Hawk and current NAAFS champion Josh Stansbury.

Josh “Sandman” Stansbury (6-2) – Stansbury is the reigning NAAFS light heavyweight champion and was also the amateur heavyweight champion for NAAFS in 2007. Most recently, he traveled to Colorado in November, where he won the light heavyweight title for Prize Fighting Championships with a first round submission win over Jeremy Osheim. Jessica Eye MMAStansbury was also a cast member on TUF 19, but he suffered an injury in his prelimary fight, which he happened to be dominating.

Jessica “Evil” Eye (11-2) – Eye is a current member of the fast-growing UFC women’s bantamweight division, but before she entered the Octagon she was Ohio’s most popular fighter. A longtime member of Team Intimidation during her early professional career, Eye became a fan favorite and is a pioneer for women’s MMA in the Buckeye State. Most recently, she picked up her first official UFC win with a TKO victory over Leslie Smith at UFC 180 in November. Intimidation released a signature shirt for Eye in 2012, and Eye is also the creator of the Eye Believe signature line of apparel, of which some stock remains through IntimidationClothing.com.

Hector “El Toro” Urbina (17-8-1) – Urbina is an Ohio native who now makes his home in Florida training with American Top Team. Urbina has been sponsored multiple times by Intimidation, and he is the former middleweight and reigning welterweight champion for the Intimidation sponsored NAAFS organization. He was also a cast member on The Ultimate Fighter 19, and he made his official UFC debut with a win over Edgar Garcia last month at UFC 180 in Mexico.

Mike “The Marine” Richman (18-5) – A former Bellator tournament finalist, Richman has now become the No. 1 contender in the organization’s bantamweight division with back-to-back knockout wins in bouts on Spike TV. Most recently, he stopped UFC veteran Nam Phan in just 46 seconds at Bellator 131 in November. Stipe Miocic UFCIntimidation sponsored Richman both in bouts for Bellator and in bouts that took place in his home state prior to his signing with Bellator. His next bout will be in March, when he faces former Bellator champion Eduardo Dantas for a likely title shot.

 

Stipe Miocic (12-1) – Miocic (pictured, right) is one of the sport’s top heavyweights, and he’ll be fighting for a title shot when he takes on former champion Junior Dos Santos in the main event at UFC on FOX 13 on December 13. Intimidation sponsored Miocic through his early pro career, when he was dominant on the regional scene winning the NAAFS heavyweight title.

Dustin “Bam Bam” Parrish (2-0) – Parrish, who hails from Indiana, boasted an impressive 9-1 record as an amatuer and is one of the fastest-rising stars on the Midwest MMA scene. Now training at American Top Team in Indianapolis, Parrish got his start in MMA after going to a local martial arts school just to take a break from wrestling. He is now 2-0 as a pro following a first round submission win over veteran Ryan McIntosh at LFC 55 in Indianapolis in November.

Cody “No Love” Garbrandt (5-0) – An Ohio native who regularly brings some of the biggest crowds to fights in his home state, Garbrandt recently signed with the UFC after posting 5 knockouts through his first 5 pro fights. He’ll make his Octagon debut at UFC 182 on January 3, where he will face veteran Marcus Brimage. Intimidation sponsored Garbrandt throughout much of his amateur and early pro career, and the Pinnacle FC bantamweight champion has become one of the sport’s biggest prospects since moving to California to train at Team Alpha Male with the likes of former WEC champion Urijah Faber and current UFC champion T.J. Dillashaw.

Weekend MMA Recap: Milstead & Nunes continue to rise with 1st round victories

One of Intimidaton Clothing’s brightest stars was in action on Saturday night, as Adam “The Prototype” Milstead put on an impressive performance in the co-main event at PinnacleFC 8 just outside of Pittsburgh.

Adam Milstead MMAMilstead (5-1) improved his record to 5-0 as a heavyweight, as he finished rugged fellow heavyweight Nick Smiley (6-4) via TKO in the first round. Milstead, who returned to the cage after an 18-month layoff, landed a clean uppercut that staggered Smiley, before an overhand right dropped the big Georgian. Milstead finished off his TKO victory with some exclamation point punches on the ground, and the referee pulled him off just 50 seconds into the bout.

In the main event at PinnacleFC 8, Intimidation alum Mark Cherico (7-0) kept his perfect record intact, as he earned a dominant unanimous decision over Indiana’s Luis Guerra (4-2) to claim the first-ever PinnacleFC professional featherweight title.

Meanwhile, competing at King of the Cage: Battle Tested in Walker, Minnesota, BJJ Black Belt Marcelo Nunes improved to 4-0 with a 1st round submission victory. In his 4 professional fights, Nunes has stopped each opponent inside the 1st round with 3 submissions and a TKO win under his belt.

Featherweights flock to Intimidation

Intimidation Clothing prides itself on identifying the top upcoming talent in mixed martial arts, and many of the sport’s top featherweight prospects have been sponsored by the brand.

Currently one of the sport’s hottest prospects, Pittsburgh’s Khama Worthy (6-2) recently improved to 4-0 with three impressive knockouts since dropping to the featherweight division last year. Frank Caraballo MMAA member of Team Intimidation since his amateur career, “The Death Star” scored another big finish at PinnacleFC 7 on Memorial Day weekend, where he knocked out Anthony Morgan (5-3) in the co-main event in Pittsburgh. The flashy, athletic striker is one of a plethora of talented fighters at or near 145lbs at Fight Club Pittsburgh where the Intimidation name has been a mainstay for years.

Intimidation has also been a longtime sponsor of NAAFS featherweight champion Frank Caraballo (12-7), who has long been lauded as one of the top prospects in mixed martial arts. Now training and coaching at Cal Crowell Fitness, Athletic & MMA Training Center, “The Tank” (pictured, right) is set to headline the Driven MMA/NAAFS Fight Nite in the Flats X card in Cleveland on June 7th. As one of the most popular fighters in Northeast Ohio, Caraballo has won 7 of his last 10 fights and looks to pickup another win in front of the home crowd in Cleveland.

Cody Stevens MMACody “The Wolverine” Stevens (11-7-1) has been sponsored by Intimidation many times in the past and is known as one of Ohio’s most popular and durable fighters. Known for his willingness to fight anybody at any time, Stevens (pictured, left) has stepped in with the likes of Shinya Aoki, Jimmie Rivera, Dustin Neace, Wilson Reis, Donny Walker and more in his storied career. Having recently fought as a bantamweight as well, Stevens recently became a member of the Strong Style Fight Team, which is an official Intimidation dealer in Northeast Ohio. Stevens has also lived and trained in Thailand, where he is a member of Tiger Muay Thai and was set to face in-state rival Caraballo before an injury postponed that battle.

Outside of the Ohio Valley, Intimidation is a longtime sponsor of former CFA featherweight champion Jordan Parsons (10-1), who has posted three straight victories after a yearlong layoff. Most recently, he made his Bellator debut at Bellator 117 in Iowa, where he earned his third career knockout victory with a 1-2 combination to put his opponent to sleep just 4 seconds into the second round. With a very good record and a win inside Bellator’s cage under his belt, Parsons is vying for a tournament spot in Bellator MMA’s deep 145lb division.

One of the newest members of Team Intimidation, Terry House (6-8) is one of the Chicagoland area’s most popular fighters. A 4-time veteran of the Intimidation-sponsored Colosseum Combat MMA promotion in Kokomo, Indiana, House (pictured, right) also promotes anti-bullying in the area. Terry House MMAHe will be back in action on May 31st in Hammond, Indiana for the Intimidation sponsored United Combat League event outside of Chicago, just across the Indiana/Illinois border.

One of the longest-running sponsorships for the Intimidation brand in the 145lb division is with Bobby Emmons. One of the first fighters from Indiana ever sponsored by Intimidation, Emmons fights at both 145 and 155lbs and has his own signature tee from the popular brand which is the largest supporter of Local MMA in the Midwest, if not the USA. Emmons is a former top contender for the highly-respected Colosseum Combat MMA promotion in Kokomo, Indiana and has the clever nickname “White Trash BJJ.” Most recently, Emmons took a fight in Pittsburgh on a week’s notice and scored a 1st round submission win to improve his pro record to 4-3.

While Donny “Eagle Eye” Walker has fought just once since April of 2012, the 2-time UFC veteran has a resume few can argue with. A member of the GriffonRawl MMA Academy, Walker was one of the first fighters ever sponsored by the Intimidation brand and his signature tee was released just before winning the NAAFS featherweight title in August 2011. A police officer by day, Walker has faced many top names at 135 and 145 pounds in the Midwest.

Kyle Kyote Rozewski MMAFinally, Kyle “Kyote” Rozewski is one of the hottest featherweight prospects in the Midwest. After starting his pro MMA career at 0-2 Rozewski made the move and transition from near his hometown in Buffalo, New York to Evolve MMA in Medina, Ohio. Since that change “Kyote” (pictured, left) has gone 4-1 with his lone loss coming to retired top MMA prospect Anthony Durnell (14-4). Over a three year pro career Rozewski’s three losses have come to three fighters with a combined pro record of 21-5, and his most recent win came at the expense of one of Ohio MMA’s long-standing warriors in Dustin “The Reaper” Kempf in March 2014. Rozewski will look to continue his hot streak opposite Wes Hanson (2-0) at Driven MMA’s NAAFS: Fight Nite in the Flats X in Cleveland on June 7th.

The aforementioned Kempf and Durnell, both Team Intimidation members for years, know tough battles just like those mentioned above. While Kempf, also a police officer by day, has fought a ringer over the years including Walker, Caraballo, Rozewski and top bantamweight prospect Isaiah Chapman, “The Reaper” continues to remain active with a 6-7 pro record. Meanwhile Durnell, a member of Fight Club Pittsburgh, announced his retirement from the sport in late 2013 after a 5-1 record in his final 6 pro fights.

Weekend Recap: BJJ Black Belt Marcelo Nunes stamps his name on top MMA prospects list

Cinco de Mayo weekend kicked off a massively busy May for Team Intimidation, which is expected to lead to a successful summer and beyond. Intimidation sponsored a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion, a fighter in a kickboxing event, and a one of the longest running amateur MMA events in the state of Ohio.

Marcelo Nunes w/ John DodsonFast-rising Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world champion Marcelo Nunes (3-0) is making waves in the mixed martial arts middleweight division, and he is one of the newest members of Team Intimidation. The Minneapolis product defeated previously unbeaten John Soliz (2-1) via submission in the first round at Xplode Fight Series’ “Anger” in Davenport, Iowa, and later posed with UFC flyweight contender John Dodson for a picture (right).

Brian Camozzi, the younger brother of UFC star Chris Camozzi, made his professional kickboxing debut at Glory 16 in his hometown of Denver, and he put on an impressive showing in losing a unanimous decision to veteran LT Nelson. The 22-year-old remains one of the best prospects on the hot regional MMA scene in the Denver area.

The official Intimidation booth was also on hand at MMA Brawlroom’s latest event in Campbell, Ohio, as St. Lucy’s Fight Night 6 showcased some of the best young talent in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and New York. Fans flocked to the booth to check out Intimidation’s latest styles of t-shirts, hats, and hoodies.

Finally, Team Intimidation’s own Brandon Hurst was busy walking the red carpet in Louisville at the 6th annual Silks of the Bluegrass event Saturday evening in support of Operation Open Arms.

Intimidation to again sponsor BJJ world champion Marcelo Nunes on May 2nd in Iowa

Intimidation Clothing is pleased to announce that one of their newest members of Team Intimidation, fast-rising middleweight MMA star Marcelo Nunes, is set to compete again this weekend.

Marcelo Nunes MMA / BJJNunes (2-0) is one of the best prospects in all of MMA, as the Minnesota product is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under ADCC champion Robert Drysdale. Most recently, Nunes picked up his second professional earlier this month when he stopped veteran Ron Imhoff via TKO in just 27 seconds at Fearless Fighting Championship 15 in Wisconsin (video below). During the fight, Nunes walked out wearing Intimidation’s Brass Knuckles 2 tee and competed in Intimidation’s popular EliteFighter premium board shorts.

The 25-year-old rising star is set to return to the cage on May 2nd, when he will face John Soliz (2-0) at “XplodeFight Series – Anger” in Davenport, Iowa.

Weekend MMA Recap: Parsons’ KO win at Bellator 117 highlights successful weekend

Easter weekend was a busy one for mixed martial arts around the country, with events in nearly every region highlighting the action. Intimidation was part of at least three events, including two in the Buckeye state and one in Michigan. Also one of the longest-running members of Team Intimidation picked up the biggest win of his career.

Jordan Parsons - Bellator MMA Longtime Minnesota MMA product Jordan Parsons (10-1, 1-0 BMMA) finally made his Bellator MMA debut on Friday night, and the “Pretty Boy” impressed with a knockout just 4 seconds into the second round. After a dominant first round, Parsons (pictured, right) needed just two punches in the second frame: a left and then a straight right, and Bazer was knocked out cold. Parsons is now on a three-fight winning streak since losing the only bout of his career and joins a long list of Intimidation sponsored fighters with highlight reel KOs for Bellator & other top MMA organizations.

Intimidation was also active at three events in the Midwest. The Intimidation crew was live on hand at EFP: Caged Madness 28 in Akron, Ohio, where a packed crowd witnessed a deep amateur card featuring a full slate of bouts. Multiple fighters from the Intimidation sponsored Evolve MMA gym were in action, including Izzy William (6-2) who picked up a submission victory in the second round, and Ryan Arce (5-2) made his return to the cage to earn a decision victory.

And in Fredericktown, Ohio, a sold out crowd at EAC 6 witnessed the final show from the organization, and the Intimidation Clothing bumper pads were up in the red and blue corners. And finally, the Intimidation Michigan crew had a fantastic night at the Mad Men Promotions “Night of Champions” event in Hillsdale, MI on Saturday night.

Year In Review: 2013 proves to be highly successful for the growth of the Intimidation brand

At this time of year we hear much about resolutions to get better and looking back at what has been accomplished over the past 12 months. Here at Intimidation Clothing, things are not much different, although the moniker of “getting better” is not something we take for granted – it’s a daily goal. After a 2012 that saw Intimidation Clothing continue to sponsor Bellator events and a host of top-tier regional MMA promotions as well as fighters on major TV networks, 2013 had a lot to live up to. And indeed it did as 2013 proved to be a banner year for our company breaking every known record the company had established in past years. Since starting this company in late 2009, the Intimidation brand has steadily grown into one of the most recognizable names in the MMA and combat sports industry, and we take a look back at the year that was in our 2013 Year in Review.

Charlie Brenneman MMAThe year began strong with the sponsorship of one of the more high-profile MMA fighters Intimidation has worked with as Charlie Brenneman (pictured, right) fought in Altoona, Pennsylvania on January 8th, defeating a fighter we would later come to sponsor and become a big fan of in Eric Irvin. Brenneman, a 8-fight UFC vet who made the move from 170lbs to lightweight in 2013, has since gone 4-0 at 155lbs as he looks to once again make a name for himself in the UFC.

Also early in January, the impact of Jessica Eye’s win over Zoila Gurgel in December 2011 was seen as she rocketed to the top of the Women’s MMA rankings. Eye, who bounced between Bellator MMA and the highly-respected and Intimidation sponsored NAAFS, was ranked as the #1 female fighter in the world at 125lbs before announcing the move to 135lbs late in 2013.

As the month of January wore on the Intimidation brand continued to get high-profile exposure as Brian Rogers presented at the World MMA Awards in Las Vegas and AXS TV’s Best of 2012 featured a variety of Intimidation-sponsored fighters. As Bellator MMA geared up for their debut on Spike TV, and flew both Rogers and Eye out for the premier at Bellator 85, Intimidation continued its strong push on the Local MMA scene into Indiana. With a fully-stocked crew traveling to events put on by Colosseum Combat MMA, Mad Wolf Promotions/Art of War, Rocktagon MMA, Chris Lytle’s Midwest Fight Series, HookNShoot and more, Intimidation Clothing was able to replicate our strong presence as the biggest supporter of Local MMA in Ohio and do the same in Indiana. Chris Lytle at Intimidation boothMeanwhile, the aforementioned Rocktagon MMA promotion and Intimidation began their partnership in January 2013 ti increase Intimidation’s TV exposure and add more regional events to the company’s slate as Rocktagon has held events in Ohio, Indiana, Texas, California and more.

In February, longtime Team Intimidation member Dan “Dragon” Spohn made his debut for the UVC in Columbus, Ohio and started a memorable year on a high note. Spohn scored submission wins at both UVC 22 in January and UVC 23 in May to bounce back from a rough 2012 and open doors for greater things in his MMA career. As Spohn headlined the UVC events, Intimidation continued their support of the Ultimate Victory Challenge promotion in Columbus, Ohio throughout the year as the two organizations expect to work together for years to come.

Brian Rogers, Isaiah Chapman & Jessica EyeIntimidation’s annual trip to the Arnold Sports Festival took place in March where the brand featured Eye, Rogers, Spohn, TUF 7 vet Luke Zachrich, UFC & TUF 10 vet Wes Sims and fast-rising prospect Isaiah Chapman signing autographs at the company’s booth. The Arnold once again provided a plethora of picture opportunities and fantastic exposure for the brand and featured the public release of Intimidation’s popular Irish “Shamrocked” tee design.

March continued strong with the brand sponsoring explosive knockout artist Chidi Njokuani live on AXS TV at RFA 7 near Denver, Colorado and continued with the sponsorship of NAAFS: Caged Vengeance 13 in Canton, Ohio – one of the best fight cards in Ohio MMA history. Featuring Intimidation sponsored Isaiah Chapman, Frank Caraballo, George Comer, John Hawk, Nick Duell, Antonio Castillo, Jr. and Julian Lane along with Intimidation alum Travis Clark and later-signed Jessica Zomcik, the event not only had a truly stacked fight card but was also a sell-out that thrilled the fans in attendance.

Jessica Eye MMA - Bellator2013 also saw Intimidation Clothing continue its strong support of women’s MMA. As long-time Team Intimidation member Jessica “Evil” Eye continued her winning streak and made the jump in weight to join the UFC, the company also continued their work with another awesome member of the current UFC bantamweight division in Jessamyn “The Gun” Duke. After Duke was the company’s Athlete of the Month in March 2013, she proceeded to fight at Invicta FC 5 in Kansas City, sign autographs at the company’s booth at XFC 23 in Louisville, Kentucky in April, and later appear on TUF 18 on Fox Sports 1 before earning her roster spot with a win on the TUF Finale in November. Intimidation also sponsored Tanikka Brents, Rebecca Heintzman, Amber Stautzenberger, Kelly Warren and Kaitlin Young during the year and inked the top-ranked amateur at 145lbs in the world, Jessica Zomcik, to a sponsorship contract. A product of Evolve MMA in Medina, Ohio, Zomcik went on to win the 2013 Tuff-N-Uff Featherweight Championship in Las Vegas to cap off her amateur career.

The company continued its strong support of the Local MMA scene by signing on to sponsor all Hardrock MMA events in 2013 and beyond in late March and continued the strong push into the Kentucky MMA scene in sponsoring the XFC’s return to the Bluegrass State at XFC 23 in Louisville on April 19th. Meanwhile, the company continued their growth outside of MMA in signing then 8-time Amateur National Champion boxer Cam F. Awesome (pictured, right) in early April. Awesome, who has had a banner year in 2013 as he pushes forward towards the 2016 Olympics, is a plant-based athlete and has won more titles in his weight class than anyone in the history of USA boxing. Cam F Awesome - BoxingHe is also a well-known local role model in Kansas City and is a proud Big of the Big Brother Big Sister program. and a strong advocate of cancer prevention and awareness via plant-based nutrition.

As April continued, Intimidation sponsorship of many of the best prospects in MMA continued seeing Mark Cherico and Brian Camozzi both continue to fight while sponsored by the Intimidation brand. Cherico (5-0), one of Pittsburgh’s most popular fighters and Camozzi (2-1), the Colorado-based lightweight and younger brother of UFC middleweight Chris Camozzi, continued to show the growth of the Intimidation brand across the nation.

May was a slow month for MMA but saw the Intimidation brand sponsor UVC 23 in Columbus as well as main event winner Dan Spohn (pictured, left). Dan Spohn MMAIn addition to Spohn, Intimidation sponsored Ronin Training Center owner Luke Zachrich, StrongStyle MMA’s Joe Heiland and more at another event rich with ties to the Intimidation brand. Later in the month, Intimidation-sponsored Brian Rogers and Jessica Eye made a second public appearance in Andover, Ohio’s Pymatuning Valley Middle School where the two athletes spoke on the importance of making good life choices, the effects of bullying and more.

Early in June each year Intimidation Clothing prepares for one major event – the NAAFS’ Fight Nite in the Flats event in Cleveland, Ohio. The biggest annual MMA event in the state of Ohio, the 2013 version, Fight Nite in the Flats IX, featured scheduled fights for Intimidation sponsored UFC vets Jason Dent and Forrest Petz, top-ranked female fighter Jessica Eye and Terry Blackwell, Brian Camozzi, George Comer, Maxim Grishin, Torrance Taylor and a variety of top amateurs.

The summer months saw Intimidation make two of the biggest moves in company history adding official distributors in Australia, Malaysia and Singapore. Working together with newly appointed Director of Sales Wes Jones, Intimidation President & CEO Luke Jernigan stated that “the International growth of the sport of MMA cannot be ignored and Intimidation Clothing intends to continue to be a part of this global economic impact.” Kyle Rozewski w/Luke JerniganThe company continues to push forward sponsoring fighters in International events including Cody Stevens at OneFC and Lee Morrison for M-1 Global, with more announcements expected in early 2014.

2013 saw Intimidation continue to build on their regional MMA growth sponsoring events and fighters in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Virginia, Minnesota, North Dakota, Texas, Florida, South Carolina, Georgia, Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska, Colorado, New Mexico, Idaho, Nevada, California and more as well as big cities like Cleveland, Chicago, Columbus, Pittsburgh, Detroit, Buffalo, Kansas City, Indianapolis, St. Louis, Akron, Boise, Canton, Cincinnati, Minneapolis, Toledo and Las Vegas. It also saw Brian “The Predator” Rogers continue to make appearances on behalf of Bellator MMA including the BET Awards in Los Angeles, California. In addition, Rogers’ Bellator 61 flying knee KO of Vitor Vianna was once again named the #1 Knockout in Bellator’s history in July.

Two big pro/am MMA events from the NAAFS took place in Northeast Ohio in August as Intimidation sponsored both Caged Vengeance 14 in Carrollton and Rock ‘N Rumble 7 later in the month in Cleveland. At the Carrollton event Intimidation Clothing and Kyle “Kyote” Rozewski (pictured with Jernigan, above on right) began working together and doors opened almost immediately. Local MMA Series from IntimidationA native of the Buffalo, New York area, Rozewski has proven to be a great asset for the brand. In addition to getting Intimidation on board with gyms, fighters, promoters and media outlets from Western New York, Rozewski himself continues to build a name for himself inside the cage as a featherweight and outside of the cage as a commentator for the TNT Fight Series in Buffalo and for Pinnacle FC in Pittsburgh.

August also saw the release of Intimidation’s popular “Support Local MMA” t-shirts (pictured, left). After years of supporting the local MMA scene alongside MMAmadhouse, Bluegrass MMA, Cage Craze, OHMMA.com and a plethora of promoters and gyms, the Intimidation brand decided to put that support on, of all things, a t-shirt.

Brian Rogers MMANew signature shirts for multiple fighters were released in 2013 including the Isaiah “The Beast” Chapman tee in March, the Mark “The Pride of Bloomfield” Chercio signature tee in July and Brian Rogers’ second Intimidation signature tee featuring his flying knee KO (pictured, right). In addition, TUF 18 star Jessamyn “The Gun” Duke joined the Intimidation signature tee line, reserved for “championship level professionals” during the Fall of 2013 during her run on The Ultimate Fighter. Intimidate Cancer made its debut in late August and has continued to grow since then. With a popular Facebook page and the addition of 10 different ribbon colors for added cancer awareness, fans can rest assured knowing a portion of the proceeds from each shirt sold go back to cancer research and awareness. In addition, Intimidation Clothing’s Intimidate Cancer line is available for private fundraisers to help families in need.

Intimidate CancerIn September Intimidation Clothing signed on to sponsor their first two MMA events outside of the USA with MMA Battle Arena in the UK and Extreme Cage Combat in Canada. Sticking with the plan to find solid, strategic partnerships outside of the USA, Intimidation’s role as the biggest supporter of Local MMA soon became a moniker that applied to more than just the USA. Meanwhile, closer to home, Intimidation sponsored its first event in the Buffalo area in late September as the Buffalo and Western NY market became a bigger focus of the company’s regional growth plan.

As October began, Intimidation’s own Brian Rogers joined StrongStyle teammate Stipe Miocic teaching a MMA seminar in Toronto. Mojo Horne MMAThe company also sponsored consecutive MMA events in Akron as the NAAFS and EFP both scored successful events while the Indianapolis market saw two events in the same weekend with the MFS and Art of War promotions both staying busy the second weekend of October. Cincinnati’s own Mojo Horne (pictured, right) added another win at a Absolute Action MMA event in Northern Kentucky and the brand sponsored Mansfield, Ohio’s own Cody Stevens as he fought MMA legend Shinya Aoki in Singapore. As Jessica Eye made her UFC debut in successful fashion, another Intimidation alum signed with the UFC in Indiana’s own Anthony Lapsley.

2013 also featured the definition of Team Intimidation to include more than just MMA fighters. In addition to high level grapplers Pablo Castro and Robby Malof, youth grappler Pito Castro and decorated amateur boxer Cam F. Awesome, Intimidation’s sponsorships of the 614 Mud Militia in multiple Tough Mudder competitions began to open doors for the brand. It was followed by the sponsorship of 15-year old BMX standout Chris Peterie, rodeo cowboy Gearen Hale, figure competitor Tonya Rae Hickey and more. That trend is expected in 2014 with details expected to be announced soon.

November was Jessica Zomcik’s time to shine as the top-ranked ammy proved to be worthy of her ranking in taking the women’s 145lb Tuff-N-Uff title in Las Vegas. Jessica Zomcik WMMA - Tuff-N-UffAs Intimidation continued their growth in Indianapolis adding the MMA Fit Club as an official dealer, the brand continued to build upon their strong Indiana presence sponsoring Colosseum Combat MMA once again as well as main event title challenger Danny Surface.

December saw Intimidation lock in deals with two companies expected to be a major piece of the company’s growth in 2014. The Florida-based XFC, which aired all 2012 and 2013 events on AXS TV, featured the Intimidation brand inside their cage at XFC 27 in Muskegon, Michigan and will continue to bring added exposure to the Intimidation name in 2014. Meanwhile the Vegas Fight Tour, which takes fans to the top gyms in Las Vegas, Nevada and features Intimidation prizes and giveaways, was also inked to a deal to help both companies get added exposure. Meanwhile, Intimidation stayed busy on December 7th sponsoring events in the Buffalo, NY area as well as Akron, OH as the TNT Fight Series and NAAFS were both in action. As the year came to a close, former CFA featherweight champ Jordan Parsons continued his winning streak to improve to 9-1 with a win close to home in Minnesota.
