Weekend Recap: More National TV exposure as Ryan Thomas & Brian Rogers gain attention for Intimidation

Intimidation Clothing was featured on national TV multiple times over the weekend, including Spike TV, AXS TV and online at gfl.tv.

Ryan Thomas MMA First up, UFC/Bellator veteran and Colosseum Combat welterweight champion Ryan “The Tank Engine” Thomas (17-7) won his fifth straight fight as he submitted Rocky France with a triangle choke on the main card of XFC 25 on AXS TV. Thomas has finished all 5 of his consecutive wins, with four submissions and one TKO, and is now 3-0 under the XFC banner. Thomas (pictured, right) wore Intimidation’s new “Support Local MMA” tee during his walkout for this high-profile televised event.

Intimidation was also featured on Spike TV on Saturday night during Bellator 98, as longtime Team Intimidation member Brian “The Professional Predator” Rogers (10-6) unfortunately came up short in his Season 9 Middleweight Tournament quarterfinal bout against Mikkel Parlo. Intimidation’s most visible brand ambassador, Rogers is regularly seen on Bellator MMA promos after scoring the promotion’s #1 knockout at Bellator 61 and is a regular at Bellator’s public events. His walkout tee was Intimidation’s latest addition – the newest version of the Brian Rogers signature tee.

Butcher has been sponsored by Intimidation many times in the past dating back to his amateur career while Shlemenko was sponsored at Bellator 50 by the Intimidation brand.

At Warriors Cub XVIII in New Jersey, Intimidation sponsored Muay Thai fighter Marcus Fisher put on a “body kick war” against Cyrus Washington in the co-main event, but ultimately came up short when Washington was awarded the unanimous decision. The bout was for the WBC Muay Thai Super Middleweight US National Title.

Brian Rogers once again earns honor for top knockout in Bellator MMA history

Intimidation Clothing sponsored fighters get major exposure, go undefeated at Bellator 94

Intimidation Clothing continues to sponsor fighters on a near weekly basis in the Bellator MMA organization on Spike TV, and Bellator 94 was a banner event for fighters sponsored by the popular clothing brand. While two fights aired live on Spike TV, the night ended with Team Intimidation sporting a 3-0-1 record.

Rodrigo Lima MMA - Bellator The night started off with Patrick Cenoble picking up a split draw in his bout against MMA veteran Tony Fryklund, but James Edson Berto put Team Intimidation in the win column in the very next fight. The veteran fighter and former EliteXC title challenger submitted Bruno Carvalho with a heel hook, but not before showing off his power by knocking down the Brazilian, and showing off his submission defense by making his way out of an arm bar attempt that appeared like it was going to end the fight. All in all, it took the Florida product just 87 seconds to pick up his 17th career MMA victory. Although it was a preliminary bout and was originally shown on Spike.com, the fight was also shown during the live broadcast on SpikeTV since time allowed.

Welterweight Julien Williams capped off the preliminary action by moving his record to 4-1 and picking up his 4th career submission with a first round victory over Kenny Moss. And on the main card, Rodrigo Lima earned a spot in the upcoming Bellator bantamweight tournament with a three round rout over veteran Ronnie Mann to earn a unanimous decision. The Brazilian rebounded from his first career loss and earned another shot at Bellator tournament action, all while sporting the Intimidation logo on his shorts during the opening SpikeTV broadcast fight.

Weekend recap: Intimidation completes highly successful weekend at Midwest Fight Series in Indianapolis

Intimidation Clothing returned to the Hoosier State on Friday night for the second appearance of the Midwest Fight Series, an MMA promotion owned in part by UFC veteran Chris Lytle. It was the first pro/am event for MFS, and Intimidation was on hand with a highly successful night as both a presenting sponsor and at the company’s booth. Intimidation also sponsored Fabricio Guerriero in the Bellator featherweight tournament on Thursday night live on Spike TV, but he came up short in his bid to make it to the semifinals despite putting on a highly entertaining fight against Frodo Khasbulaev.

In the coming week, Intimidation will have yet anoth er fighter in Bellator tournament action, as Brian Rogers competes in the middleweight tournament Thursday night on Spike TV against Dan Cramer at Bellator 89 in Charlotte, North Carolina. “The Professional Predator” is looking to win the tournament to earn a rematch against new Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko and possibly avenge his Bellator 66 loss to Andreas Spang. Spang is also a member of the 185 pound tournament on the opposite side of the bracket and fighting on the same card as Rogers on Thursday night.

The Intimidation crew will also be in attendance at UVC 22: Mayhem in Columbus on Saturday, where Intimidation will once again serve as a presenting sponsor with a fully-stocked both.
