Intimidation sponsored Brian Rogers teams up with Fund a Fighter to raise money for LEAP Program

The Intimidation-sponsored Predator is ready to pay back.

Brian Rogers MMANortheast Ohio-based middleweight Brian Rogers (9-4, 2-2 BFC) has teamed up with Fund a Fighter leading up to his next fight at Bellator 78 on October 26 to help raise money for the LEAP Program.

Known as “The Predator,” the Bellator middleweight worked as a special education teacher before deciding to focus on being a full-time fighter earlier this year. The LEAP Program is designed to help enrich the lives of special education students, and you can read more about the program here.

“I’ve taught the last couple of years at the school, and the school has a severe need for technology and computers and things like that,” Rogers said in an interview with Intimidation-sponsored Ohio MMA Radio. “The technology like iPads and computers help them learn a lot and help them focus in more. I saw that a lot myself when I would bring my iPad to school last year and let the kids play educational games.”

Brian Rogers MMARogers has a goal of of $4,000 prior to his fight, half of which will go to the LEAP Program and half that Brian will use for his training camp in preparation for the Bellator 78 fight. The person who donates the most prior to the fight will receive an invitation to walk out to the cage with Rogers at Bellator 78, and the second place fan will receive his autographed Bellator 78 banner.

Intimidation Clothing has served as a sponsor for Rogers since March 2011, when he competed at “Strikeforce: Feijao vs. Hendo” in Columbus, Ohio. His signature “The Predator” t-shirt is available for purchase now.

A new web-based radio show will debut next week, focusing on the Ohio mixed martial arts scene while sponsored by the Intimidation brand.

Luke Jernigan Intimidation ClothingHosting the 30-minute show will be GatewayMMA.com senior editor David McKinney, along with Intimidation Clothing CEO Luke Jernigan (pictured). Both David and Luke have multiple years of experience inside the world of MMA in the Buckeye State, with contacts spanning the USA and beyond.

The show, which will run live on Tuesdays at 3 pm ET and will also be available via podcast, will feature breakdowns of local events as well as interviews with local fighters and promoters.
