“The Pride of Bloomfield” will return to the cage for the toughest test of his MMA career, and once again he’ll be fighting in his own backyard. After being named as the “best fighter in Pittsburgh” in 2012 by one fan site, Chercio will take on UFC veteran Donny “Eagle Eye” Walker in the main event at “Pittsburgh Challenge Series 3,” which takes place on June 29th in Cannonsburg, just outside of Pittsburgh. Intimidation Weekend Recap: Tony Kelley remains undefeated as Intimidation sponsors events & fighters across the USA

Not a weekend goes by when the Intimidation Clothing brand isn’t being represented somewhere across the U.S., a testament to the size of the fastest growing clothing brand in mixed martial arts. This past weekend was no different, as Intimidation sponsored three events in two different states and Intimidation sponsored fighters went 6-2 in fights that took place in three different states.

Roning Fight TeamAs always, Intimidation was a title sponsor for the NAAFS: Combat Challenge 24 event, which took place on Saturday night in Akron. Intimidation fighters from the GriffonRawl Academy went 2-1 on the night, including a win by Joe Callari in one of the evening’s featured bouts. Josh Belle was also welcomed to the official GR fight team with a submission win in his debut. Evolve MMA’s Jon Looft along with Strong Style’s JT Miller and Mad Dog Fight Team members Tony Bonacci and Chris Varner also picked up wins at the event.

Intimidation also sponsored the ShoFIGHT event in Branson, Missouri, which was one of the nation’s biggest MMA events, as it took place during a block party in the popular destination town.

Intimidation sponsored fighters from Ronin Training Center went 3-0 at the Absolute Action MMA event in Florence, Kentucky, as Derek Morgan, Jamie Klein, and Vanessa Demoupoulos all earned victories at the event. Intimidation sponsored pro Luke Zachrich was also in attendance to promote his upcoming UVC 23 main event against Marcus Finch in Columbus, and the two were involved in a shoving match during their square off in the cage.

Tony Kelley MMAIntimidation sponsored fighters also went 1-1 at the inaugural Hilia Fights event in Louisiana, which was shown on Fight Now TV. MTV “Caged” star Tony Kelley picked up yet another win, moving his professional record to 2-0. Sammy Smith Jr. was unable to pull off the win in the main event, as he dropped a heavyweight title fight to unbeaten opponent Chaz Morgan.

This weekend, Intimidation will serve as a title sponsor for the Rocktagon 25 event in Cleveland, Ohio.

Weekend Recap: Undefeated prospects Camozzi, Cardillo & Cherico score impressive wins on weekend of nationwide growth

Intimidation Clothing continues to grow into a regional player in the mixed martial arts world, as yet another weekend was highlighted with four crews selling in four different states. Intimidation sponsored and sold at XFC 23: Louisville Slugfest on Friday night, as well as Pinnacle Fighting Championships near Pittsburgh, Mad Wolf Promotions: Art of War 5 in Indianapolis, and EAC 4 North of Columbus in Fredericktown, Ohio.

Jason Cardillo - Pittsburgh MMAAt XFC 23 in Louisville, one of the biggest MMA events to hit the state of Kentucky in years, Intimidation was not only on hand with a full-stocked and busy booth throughout the night but the brand also sponsored both Luis “Sapo” Santos and Shamar Bailey in the night’s main event live on AXS TV. In addition to sponsoring both fighters in the night’s main event, Intimidation sponsored Invicta FC star Jessamyn “The Gun” Duke signed autographs and took pictures with fans at the company’s booth throughout the night.

At Pittsburgh Challenge Series 2 in the Steel City, Intimidation sponsored pros went 4-1 on the night’s main card, including a slick first round submission by Mark Cherico in the headliner. The win moved Cherico to 4-0 overall as a pro, with all 4 wins coming via submission in the first round. Cherico’s teammate Jason Cardillo (pictured, left) also stayed unbeaten in the co-headliner, moving his record to 6-0 with a second round submission over Tony Parker. Anthony Durnell moved his record to 2-0 in Pinnacle, earning a unanimous decision over Kyle Rozewski and Khama Worthy was impressive in his Unanimous Decision win. Bob Tipinski opened up the night’s main card with a disputed TKO loss, as the referee appeared to stop the bout early.

Brian Camozzi MMAIntimidation pros went 1-1 at Dakota FC in Fargo, North Dakota, with Canadian Matt “Kid Lightning” Veal coming up short in the main event featherweight title fight, while Amber Stauzenberger earned a unanimous decision in her fight as she continues to be seen as one of the up and coming strawweight prospects in women’s MMA. Brian Camozzi (pictured, right) also moved to 2-0 at the Sparta Combat League in Colorado with a first round stoppage.

Intimidation sponsored amateurs also picked up wins in both Ohio and Indiana. Tim Isaac earned a victory at EAC 4 in Fredericktown, while Nick Browning earned a win at Art of War 5 in Indianapolis. In addition, Intimidation’s Michigan crew was in attendance at events on Friday and Saturday night in Lakeview and Lansing, MI.

In a battle of former NAAFS Amateur Champions, Worthy ran into a buzzsaw in George Comer falling via submission in the 2nd round. He bounced back in his second pro fight, as he faced Victer Crenshaw from the Strong Style Fight Team in Cleveland, Ohio and finished the fight in the second round with a TKO.
