Intimidation Clothing prides itself on seeking out the top up-and-coming talent in the mixed martial arts industry and beyond, and it would stand to reason that many Team Intimidation alums would go on to see successes at the top level of the sport, the Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Stipe Miocic UFCWhile Intimidation has sponsored many UFC veterans – including Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock, former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia, recently retired Forrest Petz, “Ultimate Fighter 9” veteran Jason Dent, eccentric heavyweight Wes Sims, top lightweight Charlie Brenneman, and tough bantamweight Donny Walker – many fighters currently inside the Octagon have also donned the brand over the past few years:

Stipe Miocic
Currently one of the UFC’s hottest heavyweight prospects, Miocic was sponsored by Intimidation during his NAAFS Heavyweight Championship title run in 2011 as he began his pro career at 6-0 before signing with the UFC. The former collegiate baseball player and wrestler is a member of the Strong Style Fight Team – which is an official Intimidation dealer – alongside other Team Intimidation members Brian Rogers, John Hawk, Joe Heiland and more. Jessica Eye & Eye Believe MerchandiseHe most recently defeated Gabriel Gonzaga in January at UFC on FOX 11 and moved his UFC record to 5-1.

Jessica “Evil” Eye
When Bellator MMA dissolved its women’s division earlier this year, the Strong Style product became the hottest free agent in MMA. Just days later, she signed on to be a part of the UFC’s fast-growing women’s bantamweight division. The Ohio native put her 7-fight winning streak on the line when she made her organizational debut against former Strikeforce champion Sarah Kaufman at UFC 166 on October 19th where Eye earned a hard-fought split decision win (which was later overturned to a no contest). She will be back in the cage at UFC 170 when she faces Alexis Davis. Intimidation’s Jessica Eye signature shirt is one of the company’s most popular fighter shirts and Intimidation is also the former online outlet of the Eye Believe line of clothing & merchandise.

“Relentless” Roger Bowling
One of the best knockout artists in MMA, the Cincinnati product made his UFC debut earlier this year on the heels of having two knockout wins over the span of three fights. Roger Bowling & Brian Rogers @ Strikeforce in ColumbusNow at lightweight, Bowling (pictured on left with Brian Rogers) continues to be one of the more underrated fighters in the UFC. Bowling went 4-3 in his seven Strikeforce fights and was sponsored before his Strikeforce signing and multiple times inside the Strikeforce cage by Intimidation, who also makes the Roger Bowling signature tee.

Daron “The Detroit Superstar” Cruickshank
This well-rounded fighter has a background in both karate and wrestling, and he made his way into the UFC after starring on The Ultimate Fighter 15. He has put together an impressive 4-2 record inside the Octagon, including wins over tough veteran Yves Edwards and Mike Rio in his last outing at UFC on FOX 11. The Michigan native is currently climing the UFC’s steep lightweight ladder. UFC lightweight Daron Cruickshank with Intimidation CEO Luke JerniganIntimidation and Cruickshank worked together for nearly two years over a span of five fights before signing with the UFC as he went 5-0 while sponsored by the Intimidation brand.

Sara McMann
Sara McMann, the silver medal winner in the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, is also a 3-time medalist at the FILA World Championships, taking home silver in 2003 and bronze in both 2005 and 2007. Anthony “The Recipe” Lapsley
The newest member of the UFC’s roster from this list, Lapsley signed in mid-October to fight at UFC 167. Intimidation Clothing continues to become a heavyweight contender

Known as one of the fast-rising brands in the MMA apparel market, both nationally and internationally, Intimidation Clothing continues to show why they are starting to be seen as a heavyweight contender. Eric Prindle MMAThe past few months have seen the Intimidation brand emerge onto the national scene through separate deals working with some of the “biggest” fighters in the sport. Social media attention from Stipe Miocic, Tim Sylvia and Shane Carwin as well as sponsorships of Sylvia and newly-signed Eric Prindle have vaulted the brand to contender status in the heavyweight division.

The heavyweight theme began in June when former UFC Interim Heavyweight Champion Shane Carwin praised the Intimidation brand saying “100% agree Luke is a hard working guy and his team does a great job for a smaller up and coming brand. They even get on Bellator.” Carwin went on to say “I think IC is a great example of a brand working harder then its endorsed athletes. He uses what is given to him vs getting the support he deserves. What a lot of the guys he sponsors do not realize is when they get to the UFC (because of his help) there will hardly be any sponsors willing to pay them what he pays for their non televised fights. If I was the sponsored athlete I would be working my tail off to make sure they sold product and could (c)ome with me to the next level.”

It continued throughout the summer with undefeated UFC heavyweight Stipe Miocic promoting @IntimidationMMA on Twitter, helping the company add to it’s already impressive social media presence. Stipe Miocic UFCWhile Miocic (9-0, 3-0 UFC)  was training to headline UFC on Fuel TV 5 against Stefan Struve, the opportunity for Intimidation to sponsor for 2-time UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia arose. Sylvia, who fought Andrei Arlovski for the 4th time in early September for Asia’s largest MMA promotion, One FC, was also a strong advocate of the Intimidation brand on Twitter and added a big name to the lineup of up-and-coming fighters sponsored by Intimidation.

Meanwhile, with the record social media promotion and growth experienced by the company in August, Intimidation’s team was working to finalize a deal with the defending Bellator Heavyweight Tournament Champion Eric Prindle. Prindle, who returns to the cage in early October at Bellator 75 in the opening round of Bellator’s Season 7 Heavyweight Tournament, will face Thiago Santos for the right to advance in the Fall tourney. Prindle, who was a successful amateur boxer in U.S. Armed Forces Tournaments during his military service, is a heavyweight in every sense of the word standing 6′ 5″ and weighing in at the heavyweight maximum of 265 lbs.

Adam Milstead MMAIn addition, the Intimidation brand is one of the main sponsors of Minnesota Heavyweight Champion Raphael Butler (5-0) as well as Pittsburgh-based heavyweight Adam “The Prototype” Milstead (2-1). Butler is coming off a 15 second KO of previously unbeaten Brett Murphy (4-1) for the Intimidation sponsored SEG/Driller MMA promotion in Minneapolis/St. Paul. Another fighter that the company feels has a very high ceiling is Adam Milstead who drew praise from Intimidation CEO Luke Jernigan who stated, “Milstead, in addition to being one of the nicest and most genuine individuals I have met in this industry, has the potential to make a very good name for himself in this sport. He trains at a fantastic gym at Fight Club Pittsburgh and has the intangibles needed to reach the next level.” A product of Fight Club Pittsburgh, Milstead is now 2-0 as a heavyweight after winning at NAAFS: Combat Challenge 22 via 1st round guillotine choke in Akron, Ohio.

Intimidation Clothing is pleased to announce the sponsorship of former UFC Heavyweight Champion Tim Sylvia  at ONE FC 5: Pride of a Nation on August 31st. Sylvia, a 2-time UFC Heavyweight Champion, will face another former UFC Champ in Andrei Arlovski in what will be the 4th match-up of the two fighters. While Sylvia has won two of the three fights with Arlovski, a recent MMA Junkie article billed the two as having no love lost and Sylvia telling MMA Junkie Radio that he remembered of Arlovski: “Him being fast but having a weak chin.” Tim Sylvia, former UFC Heavyweight ChampionThe two former champions will square off at the event, ONE FC 5: Pride of a Nation which takes place August 31st at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, Philippines.

Tim “The Maine-iac” Sylvia (31-7), a pro since 2001 who fought 14 times in 21 months in 2001 and 2002, is a 13-fight veteran of the UFC and 2-time UFC Champion having won the belt at UFC 41 and again at UFC 59 with three total successful title defenses. Also a veteran of the now defunct Affliction MMA series, Sylvia has faced many of the biggest names in MMA heavyweight competition during his pro career including Randy Couture, Fedor Emelianenko, Andrei Arlovski (3 times), Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira, Paul Buentello, Jeff Monson, Ricco Rodriguez, Ben Rothwell, Wes Sims, Brandon Vera and more.

In recent months Sylvia has been in the media extensively campaigning for a return to the UFC, and given his 9-4 record inside the octagon it is hard to argue. A winner of seven of his last eight fights, Sylvia will look to continue his hot streak this time wearing Intimidation products from head to toe.

“The sponsorship of Tim Sylvia is yet another step for the Intimidation brand onto the national MMA stage,” stated Luke Jernigan, President & CEO of Intimidation Clothing, LLC. “Fans have seen our growth first hand into one of the top brands in the Midwest and they are now able to witness our steps onto the national stage. But while our company continues to grow we will not lose sight of those who have helped us reach this level as we continue to focus on great styles, high quality products and exceptional customer service.”
