Intimidation Clothing is known as one of the fastest rising brands in the combat sports industry, and that will be on display yet again at the 2013 Arnold Sports Festival. Top ranked female MMA fighter Jessica Eye, Bellator knockout artist Brian Rogers, TUF 7 and Bellator vet Luke Zachrich, fast-rising undefeated bantamweight star Isaiah Chapman and Bellator vet and former NAAFS Champion Dan Spohn are all expected to be at the Intimidation Clothing booth #110 at the event at scheduled times during the three day event. Jessica Eye MMAThe 2013 Arnold Sports Festival will be held at the Greater Columbus Convention Center, at 400 North High Street, on Friday, March 1st through Sunday, March 3rd. Actual dates and times for each fighters’ appearance will be released at a later date online here at IntimidationMMA.com and will be announced on the Intimidation Clothing Facebook and Twitter accounts (@IntimidationMMA).

The #1 ranked female mixed martial artist in the world at 125 pounds, Jessica “Evil” Eye is not stranger to Ohio MMA fans, but her rise to national prominence has come after a thrilling submission win over Zoila Gurgel in December 2012. The quick submission of the former Bellator champion came in under a minute of cage time and put to rest many of the harsh words thrown her way by the outspoken Gurgel. A product of Strong Style Martial Arts in Independence, Ohio, Eye is 3-0 fighting for Bellator MMA and will be in action again in April in Atlantic City as she looks to continue her 6-fight win streak.

luke-zachrich_300Brian “The Professional Predator” Rogers, formerly known as “The Predator” for his post fight celebration, added the word “professional” to his nickname thanks to his former career as a special education teacher and his recent abundance of red carpet public appearances. In recent months the Bellator MMA middleweight walked the red carpet at the MTV Music Awards and at the World MMA Awards where his Bellator 61 flying knee knockout of Vitor Vianna was up for 2012 Knockout of the Year. Now 10-5 as a pro, The Strong Style Martial Arts product remains one of the most exciting middleweights in the sport today.

Known best for his time on The Ultimate Fighter Season 7, Luke Zachrich is a businessman, coach and professional MMA fighter. The owner of the Ronin Training Center in Columbus, Ohio, Zachrich has built an incredibly successful pro and amateur fight team since the gym opened in 2011as the gym has featured many big names to come through the door including UFC Welterweight Matt Brown and former NFL linebacker and Ohio State football star Andy Katzenmoyer. Before the UVC 20 win over Nick Kraus, Zachrich was last seen inside the cage at Bellator 16 in the quarterfinals of the Bellator Season 2 Middleweight Tournament.

Isaiah Chapman MMAThe owner of one of the most fitting nicknames in the sport, Isaiah “The Beast” Chapman is truly a beast at 135lbs. Training out of Rock Hard MMA and Unique Fitness in Akron, an official Intimidation dealer, Chapman is already a black belt in Judo, an accomplished boxer and was a decorated amateur wrestler. In addition to being on the winning end of the 2012 Ohio MMA Fight of the Year by OHMMA.com, Chapman was named the Intimidation Clothing Athlete of the Month for February 2013. He is slated to be back in action on March 30th in Canton for the NAAFS as he looks to improve on his 4-0 pro record.

Dan “Dragon” Spohn is just a few days removed from adding another win to his record as the 4-time Bellator veteran made his debut for the Columbus-based Ultimate Victory Challenge (UVC) promotion. Spohn has been sponsored by Intimidation in each of his fights for the past two years and along with Rogers was one of the sponsored fighters at the Intimidation booth at the Arnold Sports Festival a year ago. Now 7-3 as a pro, the former NAAFS Light Heavyweight Champion returned to teaching at Buckeye MMA and is expected to return to action before the summer as he looks to stay busy and once again get a shot at the big stage.

Maldonado has stayed busy throughout the Summer MMA season of events upcoming across the Midwest. David Maldonado, MMA CutmanAlso be sure to check out the ProFightingFans.com interview with David Maldonado, The Complete Cutman.

Last weekend in Charlotte was a great chance to work with the XFC, their fighters, enthusiastic fans, great staff and a fabulous North Carolina Athletic Commission. All were incredibly enjoyable to be around and allowed me to give my best work to add to the success of the show. The next day I traveled to Columbus, Ohio and got to see an excellent card at the UVC’s best show yet. Talent from as far away as Team Alpha Male in California came out to prove their worth and I was honored to get to work with that group again.

This Wednesday I will be a guest on MMAMadhouse.com’s live show where I can be heard from 7:30-8pm PST. Should be a blast to dialogue about the sport and my role within it. Then this weekend it will be a bit quiet as I will assist with a local MMA charity fundraiser in Vincennes, Indiana and otherwise recover from a long weekend of travel.

Keep up with my schedule online here, at CompleteCutman.com or follow me on Twitter @completecutman.

The month of August has been circled on the calendar in Intimidation Clothing’s offices for months. “It’s hard not to get excited about a month like August will be for the Intimidation brand,” said Luke Jernigan, President & CEO of Intimidation Clothing, LLC. All HeartThe company will kickoff the month with three major events in the first weekend as Bellator TV commentator Sean Wheelock hosts the Rules of MMA Referee & Judges Seminar near Kansas City, Kansas, UVC 20 takes place at the Ohio State Fair in Columbus, Ohio and the NAAFS holds their first event in populous Cleveland suburb Eastlake all on the August 4-5 weekend. This is followed by the NAAFS having two of the year’s biggest events on the regional MMA scene with Rock ‘N Rumble 6 in Cleveland, Ohio on August 17th and Caged Fury 18 in Charleston, West Virginia on August 25th. “Anyone who knows the regional MMA scene and objectively looks at these events know that this is a huge month for anyone associated with these organiztions,” stated Jernigan. “We are just fortunate enough to have chosen good business partners and as a result Intimidation will obviously benefit from the success of each.”

While the calendar is full of big events the company has been wise to identify needs and continue to keep the foot on the gas pedal. “Our creative team has been working extra hard in developing fresh new designs,” said Jernigan. Shooting StarAs a result the company has released the new All Heart tee, the women’s Shooting Star and the women’s Mark Cherico tank tops.

The All Heart design is currently available with a maroon print on a heather gray tee that is an ultra soft 3.2 oz cotton/polyester blend as well as a heather navy shirt with white print (pictured, above, right) made from the same amazingly soft materials. “The early feedback has been great and sales have been much better than expected. If things go according to plan I am expecting we will add more color combinations for this style as well.”

The women’s Shooting Star (pictured, left) is a cotton/polyester blend burnout style tee in “shocking pink” featuring the Intimidation brand written in script with the star at the top containing the iconic Intimidation shield logo.
